Form meets function, and sofa meets table, in our latest addition to the Haven lounge system: the In-Line Table. With a familiar look and feel similar to our Coffee Table and Dining Table, The In-Line table acts as a connecting table between two modules of our Haven lounge system. It’s made of solid teak and features our signature Haven slatted tabletop surface and marine-grade hardware. Some call it the perfect middleman.
Getting to know our modular system
Modular furniture like our Haven lounge collection are made up of separate pieces or ‘modules’ come together to create a finished piece. Modularity allows for versatility and customizable furniture you can change, rearrange or expand over time. Our Haven lounge collection, namely the Loveseat, Sofa and Sectional, are made up of single seat modules attached behind a shared leg and adding a modular coffee table to the Haven setup is something we’ve been looking forward to for a long time.
Crafting the In-Line Table
To create something that would fit functionally and aesthetically with our existing Haven modules, we borrowed design features from our best selling Dining Table and Coffee Table. The Like these other pieces, the In-Line table is made of solid FSC-certified teak that has been kiln-dried and left untreated to ensure extended durability. The surface of the table is built with rounded-edge slats that allow water and spills to pass through and give the wood room to expand and contract as temperature change in your outdoor environment.
The size of the In-Line Table is perfect for drinks, snacks and games and doesn’t interrupt the flow or comfort of the lounge seating. Since the table will share legs with your, assembling and adding In-Line Table to your Sofa, Loveseat or Sectional is simple. Using the included Allen key and marine-grade hardware hex bolts, you can add the In-Line Table to your setup in under five minutes.
How to create a custom setup for your space
With our modular system, it’s easy to create the perfect outdoor setup for your space. To start, measure your space and design on the products and configuration that will work best. Our most popular patio sets are an L-shaped sectional with a coffee table or a sofa with two chairs. Next, decide on arm style. Our cushion arm is cozy and creates the perfect corner nook for reading and relaxing. Our teak armrest is more structural and minimal and can make the whole sofa feel open and inviting.
Last, choose one of our premium Sunbrella fabric colors. All are fade-proof, stain-resistant and easy-to-clean. You can order free swatches to feel the fabrics in person and decide which are right for you.
As a rule of thumb for building an outdoor living room, be sure to create plenty of seating and then pair it with surfaces for drinks, snacks and portable outdoor lighting. Configure your custom piece to invite relaxation and connection with friends and family.
